Azita Ghanizada

Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television series. She is an actress from Afghanistan who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her home country her family, they moved towards in the US. The family was granted asylum, and were allowed to remain. Ghanizada is the middle sibling of two sisters. She was brought up to a young age in Northern Virginia. Her career on air began with several National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of this performance, she was nominated during the Festival of Cannes for the Best Actress Award. The actress has also appeared on television shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include an appearance as a character in Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada made her debut in 2008 when she was cast actor on General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. Night Shift Season 2 as the Dr. Saira Batra a specialist in holistic medicine.
