Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the United States as well as Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter as well as occasionally hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is bilingual since the age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in securing her first position as an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami, where she worked with the producers of shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. After this she was hired by the CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. In 2009, she relocated to Texas into Rio Grande Valley where she began her news reporting at KNVO TV 48 Univision. Her stories covered immigration, drug trafficking, and various other topics on the Texas as well as the Mexico border. Also, she was the Spanish reporter at the newscast of 5 p.m. and anchor and reporter of the newscast of nine p.m. in English as well as a Spanish reporter for 10 p.m. In addition, she was an anchor for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate where she took on other responsibilities. She did pieces on MLB's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. She also produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra as anchor. She worked as the sports anchor of Despierta America Deportes morning show. She held the same position in Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually settled in Mexico City and she was born on the 22nd of November the 22nd of November, 1985. Her older sister is also hers. She is the older sister. In the course of a few months, her father separated from her mother. She later remarried in the year 1995 to a naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. While on a trip with the family in Ohio, the young Collins had taken a position along with her sister. Antonietta was the senior of her high school however, she had a clear idea of what she wanted to do in her future career. She visited Mount Union University in order to determine if they suited her. She discovered that she enjoyed the university and that the school had the program she desired. She finished school and attended the University as a media studies major. Mark Bergmann - her professor and manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. It was he who inspired her faith and confidence, as well as whose enthusiasm for journalism deeply touched her. In turn, she determined to meet his demands always delivering on time.
